Latin Grammy Award for Best Classical Contemporary Composition
The Latin Grammy Award for Best Classical Contemporary Composition is given every year since the 9th Latin Grammy Awards ceremony, which took place at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas. According to the category description guide for the 14th Annual Latin GRAMMY: "For a newly recorded original composition composed within the last twenty-five (25) years (a Composition is NOT eligible if composed before 1988), and released for the first time within the Eligibility Year. Award to the Composer".
