Laati is a 1992 Telugu-language Indian feature film directed by Gunasekhar, who later directed Sogasu Chuda Taramaa (1995), Ramayanam (1997) (winning a National award), Choodalani Vundi (1998), Manoharam (2000), Mugarau (2001), Okkadu (2003), Arjun(2004), Sainikudu (2006), Varudu(2010) and Nippu(2012).
Plot
Ramu is a young boy played by Prashanth who dreams of becoming a cop. He eventually joins a police training college and gets posted as a Police Constable in an area where Don Dawood (Raghuvaran) rules over the area. Ramu wins over Don Dawood, encountering ordeals. He falls in love with Sangeetha (played by debutant Samyuktha).
