Last Shot: A Final Four Mystery is a young adult novel by John Feinstein. It tells the story of two young reporters, Stevie Thomas and Susan Carol Anderson, who stumble upon a plot to blackmail fictional Minnesota State basketball player Chip Graber into throwing the Final Four
Plot
The story revolves around one Stevie of Philadelphia, who won a writing contest that allows him to travel to the New Orleans and become a member journalist during the event. Though reluctant, his parents allow him to skip school and travel to New Orleans where he will write along side the other winner of the contest, Susan Carol. Both stories are praised and they meet many celebrities along the wat such as Dick Vitale and Raymond Felton among others.
