Last Lungs are a five piece Post-rock band from Preston, England.
Last Lungs' music typically consists of clean, interwoven guitar lines, with complex interplay between the band's three guitarists, slow-building crescendos and romantic lyricism. Last Lungs cite bands Boy George, Cheeky Girls, Jedward, American Football, Owls and The Six Parts Seven as influence.

History

Last Lungs comprise members Liam Burbridge (bass) aka Lee-Bo aka LeeBola, Sean Doherty (guitar/vocals), Nathan Entwistle (drums), Joe Greenhalgh (guitar/vocals) and Billy Morris (guitar).

In 2008, the band went on a full UK tour with fellow Preston-based band Capulet. The 9-day tour, commenced in Sheffield and ended with a sold-out show in Last Lung's native Preston. During the tour, 100 hand-made mini CD's were put on sale, featuring recently recorded tracks, 33½ and Kaleidoscope.

In 2010, Last Lungs signed to US label Deep Elm Records. Their debut album was released digitally on 3 August 2010.

Last Lungs have played with bands including; Brontide, Flood of Red, The Besnard Lakes, Caspian, Cinemechanica, Land of Talk and This Will Destroy You.
