Lasiurus is a genus of Asian and African plants in the grass family, found primarily in arid regions.[2][3]

The only known species is Lasiurus scindicus, native to drier regions of northern Africa and southwestern Asia, from Morocco and Mali to India.[1][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14]
