Lar Park Lincoln (born May 12, 1961) is an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles in the 1987 film House II: The Second Story as Kate, and in the 1988 horror film Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood as Tina Shepard.[1]

Biography

Lincoln was born Laurie Jill Park in Dallas, Texas. She appeared on the hit CBS prime time soap opera, Knots Landing, for several seasons as "Linda Fairgate," the daughter-in-law to "Karen Fairgate" (played by series star Michele Lee). She has made guest appearances on several television shows, including: Hunter, Outlaws, Highway to Heaven, Freddy's Nightmares, Tour of Duty, Murder, She Wrote, Space: Above and Beyond and Beverly Hills, 90210.

Lincoln was married to Michael Lincoln from 1981, until his death in 1995. She left acting for a while to raise her two children, but has returned. In 2005, she filmed Bit Parts. Lincoln was also on the QVC network selling a product called The Freedom Bag.

In 2008, Lar has added author, director and producer to her ever-growing list of achievements.

Her three-year role on Knots Landing offered her the opportunity to work with luminaries, such as Michele Lee, William Devane and Kevin Dobson. She has been a featured guest on “Oprah” and “Entertainment Tonight”, as well as numerous local and syndicated talk and radio shows.

Lar decided to return to her native state of Texas to raise her children. Since then, she is one of Texas’ most elite career coaches for actors, models and pageants.

With a script from her then-17 year-old, film-student nephew Austin, Lar executive produced “Static,” a film about teen heroin abuse. Lincoln quoted that: “We used all teens. The movie was teen written, teen edited and teen developed. It kept its pulse firmly rooted in the reality of the teen drug culture.”

She co-directed and competed in the Dallas twenty-four hour film race with a serious piece about racial discrimination, called “Black and White.”

Under her coaching wing, her daughter Piper, took the title of Miss Texas Jr. Teen, and worked with the Scottish Rite hospital helping children. Lar’s son, Trevor, is on the road to becoming an Eagle Scout. He also plays a guitar and a trombone.

Lar recently completed post production on her new role in Lifetime’s Inspector Mom, a new series shot in her home state of Texas.
