Landsale (album)
Landsale is P-Model's second album. It has a sound similar to the band's previous album, In a Model Room, although it's harsher (with the exception of the opening track Ohayo, whose strings and piano hinted what direction P-Model leader Susumu Hirasawa would take with his music). The album deals with criticizing "the System" and the unnecessary formalities it imposes in society, with sarcastic lyrics; bassist Katsuhiko Akiyama contributes three songs, based around the album's concept as well as the band's image.[1] Created with sales in mind, Landsale went on to become the band's first chart-topping album and the only one to top the mainstream charts. Hirasawa re-recorded the album (except for "Touch Me" and "Globe") in the style of the P-Model live shows of 1980 as Virtual Live-2 [P-Model Live at Shibuya Nylon 100% 1980].

The romanization of the tracks' titles on the the albums center labels on the record release (as well as sources beside Hirasawa's official website) use slightly different romanizations: "Ohayo", is titled with a macron; "Daijobu" doesn't have the ending "u"; ""Love" Story" uses quotation brackets (standard brackets on Hirasawa's website), "Na-Ka-Yo-Shi" uses centered dots (Hirasawa's website gives no linking punctuation) and the "Shi" lacks the "h"; "Alien" and "Globe" are listed by their romanized titles instead of the translated ones.
