Lamachaur is a town and Village Development Committee in Kaski District in the Gandaki Zone of northern-central Nepal. recently,it has been added as ward to pokhara sub metroplitan city.At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 5,019. The only T.U affiliated engineering college of pokhara i.e Paschimanchal Campus is situated here.And also the regional school Gandaki boarding school.one of the best school of nepal is in lamachaur.[1]
