Lake Lauerz (German: Lauerzersee, old spelling: Lowerzer See) is a lake in the Canton of Schwyz, Switzerland. Its area is about 3 km² and its maximum depth is 13 m (42.7 ft). There are two small islands in the lake (the Schwanau and the Roggenburg).

In 1806, a landslide into the lake caused a tsunami 20 metres (65.6 ft) high.[1]
