La Raza is the sixth studio album by American heavy metal band Armored Saint, which was released on March 16, 2010 on Metal Blade Records. Armored Saint reformed in the entire Symbol of Salvation lineup to record La Raza in 2009 after an eight-year hiatus. Per the liner notes, the album's title was derived from mankind's "race" for space (expanding control over land) and resources (energy and food), with reference to the dwindling amount of both that remains. "Loose Cannon" critically describes the typical behavior of a reckless driver. "Left Hook From Right Field" takes aim at rejecting a Christian ministry's efforts to convert the non-believer.
