La Chica Dorada (The Golden Girl) is the debut album by Mexican pop singer Paulina Rubio's debut solo album (after leaving the group Timbiriche) and her first under the EMI Latin record label.[2] The album includes Rubio's signature song and the single that launched her solo career, "Mío", along with "Sabor A Miel" and "Amor De Mujer". The album's title has stuck and today Rubio is known as 'la chica dorada' (the golden girl) in her native Mexico and throughout the Spanish-speaking world.
