La Calera is a municipality and town of Colombia in the department of Cundinamarca.

On the weekends many Bogotanos drive out of the city to spend time with nature, relax on a farm or enjoy lunch in one of the many restaurants in the nearby villages. La Calera is one of the top destinations; it is only fifteen minutes from the Bogota city center. It is a beautiful drive with spectacular sightseeing.
