"L.A L.A" is a song by Queensbridge rappers Mobb Deep, Capone-N-Noreaga, & Tragedy Khadafi. It was released in early 1996, and was a response to Tha Dogg Pound's "New York, New York" in which members of Tha Dogg Pound are seen knocking down buildings in New York City in the music video. Tha Dogg Pound are from California and at the height of the East Coast-West Coast Conflict many people in New York saw this as disrespect so rap duo's Mobb Deep, & Capone-N-Noreaga, collaborated with Tragedy Khadafi and came back at the West Coast with "LA LA". The music video shows the rappers kidnapping members of Tha Dogg Pound, and putting them in the trunk of a car. At the end they tie them up and throw them over a bridge in New York.
