Mixed martial arts record from Sherdog

Kyle James Bradley (born August 19, 1982) is an American mixed martial artist, who currently competes in the Welterweight division. A professional mixed martial artist since 2003, Bradley is best known for his four fight stint with the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He currently holds a record of 21–11 (1).

Mixed martial arts career

Bradley made his professional mixed martial arts debut on July 11, 2003, losing to UFC veteran Melvin Guillard via armbar at FFC 6: No Love.[1] Following the loss, Bradley would compile a record of 13–4 (1), fighting veterans such as Jamie Varner and Bobby Voelker, before being signed by the UFC in early 2008.

Ultimate Fighting Championship

Bradley had a rough start in the UFC as he was knocked out quickly in the first by UFC vet Chris Lytle. Joe Lauzon defeated Kyle Bradley by TKO (Strikes) in Round 2 at Ultimate Fight Night 15.[2] In the first round Bradley connected with a punch and rocked Lauzon.[3] Lauzon managed to recover and continued to trade with Bradley in a close first round.[4] In the second round Lauzon scored a take down and transitioned quickly into mount before taking Bradley's back.[3] Lauzon landed several punches from this position until the referee stepped in to save Bradley.[4]

At UFC 98, Bradley defeated Ultimate Fighter 8 contestant, Phillipe Nover, by a controversial TKO stoppage at 1:03 of the first round. Bradley connected with a right hand before throwing Nover to the mat, following up with several heavy shots on the ground. As Nover was recovering and pulling guard, referee Yves Lavigne stepped in and stopped the fight. But to Lavigne's credit, Nover did go limp and was unconscious for a second.

Bradley was defeated by Rafael dos Anjos via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 20.[5] After the loss he was cut from the UFC.[6]
