Randell Jones, better known by his stage name Kydd, is an American hiphop artist from Austin, Texas.[1] He has collaborated with artists such as Max Frost, GLC, Pac Div, Yelawolf & Kirko Bangz.[2]
Career
He was nicknamed "Kydd" by his older brother Tank Washington for being the youngest kid in a group called Southern Boys which performed at local talent shows; after being picked up by an independent record label in his early teenage years, he joined another group called Impact and started performing at clubs and shows at the age of 15.[3][4] In 2008, he released The Sounds in My Head Pt. 1, which was followed by The Sounds in My Head Pt. 2 in 2012. He released The Righteous LP later that year.[5]
