Kyösti Lehtonen (b. 13 March 1931 in Jämsä; d. 15 November 1987 in Helsinki) was a Finnish wrestler and Olympic champion in Greco-Roman wrestling.
World Championships
Lehtonen was world lightweight (67 kg.) Greco-Roman wrestling silver medalist at the 1955 World Wrestling Championships in Karlsruhe, behind gold medalist Grigory Gamarnik of the USSR and beating out bronze medalist Gustav Freij of Sweden.
Olympics
Lehtonen competed at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne where he received a gold medal in Greco-Roman wrestling, the lightweight class.[1]
