Kwon Mina (Hangul: 권민아; born September 21, 1993), better known as simply Mina, is a South Korean idol singer and actress. She is best known as a member of the South Korean girl group AOA under FNC Entertainment.

Biography

Mina was born on September 21, 1993, in Busan, South Korea. She auditioned for FNC in 2009, she was living in Busan at that time, then when she grabbed her chance to be a singer, her family moved to Seoul.

On July 30, 2012, Mina made her debut as a member of AOA on Mnet's M! Countdown with their debut single, Angels' Story with the title track "Elvis".[1] AOA has released until now 2 EPs and 9 singles in total.[2]

Solo career

In 2013 Mina debuted as an actress with the KBS2 drama special "Adolescence Medley", where she played Yoon Jin-yeong.

On March 14, 2014 was revealed that Mina will be playing the younger role of Kim Hee Sun’s character in KBS drama, "Wonderful Days. On February 22 episode of “Wonderful Days,” Mina played the role of as the young Cha Hye Won.[3][4]

On July 15, 2014, Mina has now been confirmed to join the upcoming SBS weekend drama 'Modern Farmer' as a her first main role.[5]

On February 26, 2015, Mina appeared in the music video for solo singer Shade's song "Bad".[6]
