Kuntur Wachana (Quechua kuntur condor, wacha birth, to give birth, -na a suffix,[2][3] "where the condor is born", hispanicized spelling Cóndorhuachana) is a 5,073 metres (16,644 ft) high mountain in the Urupampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru. It is located in the Cusco Region, Calca Province, Calca District, north of the Willkanuta River. Kuntur Wachana is situated north-east of the mountain Wamanchuqi, south-east of the mountains Siriwani and Sawasiray, and south-west of the mountain Q'irayuq.[4]
