Kund is a village and one of the 51 Union Councils (administrative subdivisions) of Khushab District in the Punjab Province of Pakistan.[1] It is located at 32°24'40N 72°12'17E.[2]

Importance

This area of district Khushab is important for their agriculture values. Wheat, rice and sugar cane are the main crops of this land. The Muhajar branch canal is the only canal in Pakistan which is falling in opposite side of all Pakistan rivers. Kund Union council includes villages of Kund,Peerah Markhal,Sikandaraywala,Dera Sagrali ( Dera Malik Muhammad Nawaz Awan), Dera Gundwal, Salmun Sharif. Nooraywala Bunglaw, Dera Muhammad Khan, Dera Jhatair, Dera Karam ullah, alongwith small towns like Basti Sher wali(Naara), Chanki, Hayro, Kathwai, Chapphar Shareef, Sagrali, and Bharkin.

Dera Sagrali. Sagrali is abbreviated from a word "Sagar". in the past Sagar as we heard from ancestors that here a plant named Sagar was planted here. So using this name Sagar plant would be changed in the name of a place SAGRALI It is a Place where some Sufis e.g Peer Mehr Ali Shah Golra Sharif came here and gave the education of Islam.Here these Sufis preach the islamic rules and they changed many people whose were not Muslim. They became Muslim.

Using the Knowledges of Peer Mehr Ali Shah many peoples Like Malik Hafiz Allah Juwaya ,Hafiz Muhammad Nawaz, and Hafiz Muhammad Ramzan who were students of Peer Mehr Ali Shah Golra Sharif , continued their teaching method and their knowledge for many years.
