Kulapully, located in the Palakkad District, state of Kerala, India, is a suburb of Shoranur municipality, which is a part of Ottapalam urban agglomeration .[1]
Geography
Kulapully is situated 2 km from the shornur town at the junction of Guruvayoor-Palakkad route and the Shoranur Bypass Road which branches off towards Thrissur.
Transport
Kulapully has a municipal bus stand and is well connected to all the nearby towns. It is the starting point of the Kulapully-Palakkad highway which was constructed under the Kerala State Transport Project (KSTP).[2] Shornur Junction is the nearest railway station. Calicut International Airport, Cochin International Airport and Coimbatore Airport are the nearest airports.

Kulapully falls under the Shornur assembly constituency, and the Palakkad parliament constituency.[3]

An ancient Temple of Lord SreeKrishna which was destroyed in 18th century was recreated in 2007 by the devotees led by Shri.Erangodath Prasannakumar for the worship of devotees irrespective of caste, creed and religion. This Temple is an example for religious harmony and cultural integration. The old Temple is said to have been built by Pandya King Maravarman Sundarapandya in 13th century who belongs to the same clan of Pandya Kings built Sabarimala Temple. Five day long Prathishta dinam (Idol installation Anniversary) celebrations is an important festival of Kulapully. Kulapully Music Festival is also organized as part of the Prathishta Dinam celebrations held during the month of April/May every year.
