Kubichek! were an English indie rock band from Newcastle-upon-Tyne, formed by four members of North East band Parklandsway after they split in 2003.

Kubichek! were signed to indie label 30:30 Recordings but released two singles, "Taxi" and their debut, "Nightjoy", on Fantastic Plastic Records, a split single "Opening Shot" on Kitchenware Records as well as having their music featured on several compilation CDs. They released four singles from their debut album "Not Enough Night" - "Outwards", "Nightjoy", "Stutter" (a vinyl release limited to 500 copies) and "Method Acting".

On 23 October 2007, Kubichek! announced on their Myspace that lead singer Alan McDonald had left the band. McDonald continues to make music and upload it on his Myspace page, Here Yee, on which he states he is not likely to ever perform live again. With Michael 'Frog' Coburn taking on vocal duties, the band added Graham Thompson to the line-up to take over on bass, but he quit the band in early 2008. The band toured extensively and performed a one off show in 2007 at The Sage Gateshead to help raise funds for the Teenage Cancer Trust.

On 4 July 2008, Kubichek! announced on their Myspace page that the band had decided to split up saying that "After Alan left we did a few shows, but to be honest it just didn't feel as though it was what we wanted.". The remaining members have since formed a new band called the 'Black Flashes'.

On 2 February 2013, Kubichek! performed a one-off charity gig at The Cluny in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

Kubichek! members Alan and Chris are now in the band Young Liar.
