Krzyżowa [kʂɨˈʐɔva] (German: Lichtenwaldau) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Gromadka, within Bolesławiec County, Lower Silesian Voivodeship, in southwestern Poland.[1] Before the end of World War II it was in Germany. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.

It lies approximately 8 km (5 mi) southwest of Gromadka, 10 km (6 mi) northeast of Bolesławiec, and 98 km (61 mi) west of the regional capital, Wrocław.

The village has a population of 500.
