Kristiana Gregory

Kristiana Gregory, known also by her given name Lynn Christine (b. 1951 in Los Angeles, California to Harold D. Gregory and Virginia Jean Kern Gregory with two younger siblings Robert and Janett), is a popular author of children's historical fiction, including several for the Dear America and Royal Diaries series. She currently resides in Boise, Idaho and is married to Kip Rutty with two grown sons- Gregory and Cody.[1][2]

Her book Jenny of the Tetons won the Golden Kite Award for Fiction[3] and her Dear America diary Seeds of Hope: The Gold Rush Diary of Susanna Fairchild was named Best Book of the Year by Oppenheim Toy Portfolio.[4] A book written for The Royal Diaries series, Cleopatra VII, Daughter of the Nile, was made into an HBO Family Channel movie.[5]
