He came to Hyderabad for college and got his degree in Commerce (B.Com), at Ambedkar Degree College, Bagh Lingampally, Hyderabad. He intended to continue his commerce studies with a master's degree. When he was not accepted by any college, he lost interest in continuing his studies and developed an interest in acting in movies.

Career

He was very interested in acting from childhood and acted in school plays. His first professional drama was Pending File, in which he played the role of Parandhamayya but, as he went on the stage, he forgot his lines completely. It was a memorable experience for him as a drama artist.

After that he went to Chennai, to start his film career. He attended the screening test for a Kranti Kumar, where he was one among 300 people. He got an opportunity to act in that film but the producer's death halted the project.

His career as an actor languished until he performed the role of Babji in the television serial Vasantha Kokila, directed by Uppalapati Narayana Rao, which won him the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award. Afterward, he acted in the movies Avunu Valliddaru Ista Paddaru! and Kabaddi Kabaddi.

After becoming popular comedian, Krishna Bhagavan is getting offers as solo hero and acted in John Appa Rao 40 Plus, Donga Sachinollu, Mr. Girisham, Andhra Andagadu, Bommana Brothers Chandana Sisters.

Controversy

In 2010, he created a controversy by attending a function in inebriated state at an Engineering College in Narsapur. He made bad comments about 'Maha Shasravaadhani' Garikapati Narasimha Rao. He ridiculed his unbeatable ability of reciting oriental style poetry spontaneously. His meaningless talk in drunken state didn’t stop there. Krishna Bahagwan also cracked filthy jokes on his father as well. [2][3][4]

“Once my father asked me to write a love letter for him……..” he said in fumbling voice. Students kept on laughing at his drunken condition. Despite many people condemning his irresponsible behavior, he never issued a public apology to Garikapati Narasimha Rao.
