Kris Kohls (Born in Bakersfield, California May 19, 1972) is an American rock drummer known as member of the band Adema and a mixed martial artist.

Career

In his early life Kris joined several bands (including Cradle of Thorns), a five piece set drummer,[2] Kris developed many skills of drumming during the 1990s. He and 4 other musicians made the band Adema in the early 2000 who was quickly signed with Arista Records. He recorded several albums for Adema, a band that he is still active with. Outside of his primary band, Kris also made several appearance on other musical projects like "Brides of Destruction" led by Mötley Crüe's Nikki Sixx, and Tracii Guns of L.A. Guns, which he quit because of his touring schedule with Adema.

He also has a passion for mixed martial arts, and has been practicing for ten years. Kris only has 4 professional fights in MMA, but has a Purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, given by Gracie Academy. Kris is also a devout Christian. After the Adema reunion in 2010, Kris put on hold his hip hop solo project, but now his solo album is going to be released in 2011 and titled "Don't Try Rock and Roll".
