Krazy Kong is a character created by folk musician Wild Willy Barrett.

Fictional history

Kong was born a long time ago on the planet of "Brixtonium" the child of a time-lord exile. He grows up not knowing his mum but his dad is technically-minded and helps the young Kong build a time-machine of his own so he can travel to his leisure.

Kong is somewhat of a newbie to the town. He first arrives there after travelling for a great deal of time on the intergalactic road. Quickly becoming known as a live-wire who is dodged by men, women have a penchant for him several of whom become members of his harem. It is established that Kong plays Saxophone and is quite the artistic type.

An increasingly notorious Kong seeks the narrator, who he meets whilst taking a late night walk. The narrator heads on home and, panicking, hears the door knock, he invites Kong in and strikes up a friendship. Kong wants the narrator to do something for him which may be of dubious intent.

Kong becomes a successful man, has enough money for a mansion and a delicious wine cellar. He employs a Butler, Footman and Chambermaid who frequently have accidents. Kong owns a space machine that he takes off with, thus leaving the earth and visiting what is assumed to be the Clangers' planet.

Along his travels, Kong became friends with a Dyslexic Dalek by the name of Derek. Initially sceptical, they realized that their differences were species-based only and they both have plenty in common. For example they both like shopping for expensive accessories and when they meet up they usually go for a curry. They formed a band and play minimalist synth-jazz.

He is a simple monkey-like creature who smokes cigars, is escorted by women whilst partying on a Friday and plays saxophone. He is quite volatile and talks in this 'Kong scat' which the narrator soon learns. Kong also owns a mansion and a space-mobile. He is very fond of the arts and likes to visit old settings where art of the time was being practised.
