Krasnensky District (Russian: Кра́сненский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the twenty-one in Belgorod Oblast, Russia.[1] Municipally, it is incorporated as Krasnensky Municipal District.[3] It is located in the northeast of the oblast. The area of the district is 851.9 square kilometers (328.9 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Krasnoye.[2] Population: 13,371(2010 Census);[4] 15,337 (2002 Census).[7] The population of Krasnoye accounts for 16.1% of the district's total population.[4]

The district was established in February 1991.
