Kourtney Compton (born November 15, 1991) is an American promotional model and beauty pageant titleholder. She models for a variety of outlets, including the Kardashian Kollection and Samsung, and hosts live events for clients such as NikeFuel, Victoria’s Secret Sport, and Rockstar Energy. She also writes a weekly NFL column for a South African sports blog.[2]

Early life and education

Compton was born to mother Kristina Compton in Tampa, Florida, and raised in Mt. Zion, Illinois. She later moved to Utah and attended Woods Cross High School.[3] During her time there, Compton was a cheerleader, participated on the debate team,[4] and competed in track and cross country.[5] Having grown up around horses, Compton began competing in equestrian events at the age of eight. She competed for eight years in all-around showing: hunter jumping, barrel racing, and English and Western riding.

Compton attended the University of Utah and graduated in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Career

Beauty Pageants

Compton began competing in regional beauty pageants in 2009,[6] eventually becoming the 2010 Miss Runner-Up Teen Utah and securing the title of 2011 Miss Teen Utah World.[7]

Modeling

After leaving pageantry, Compton turned to modeling. She is currently signed with three agencies: Peak Models in Los Angeles, Donna Baldwin in Denver, and Urban Talent Management in Utah.[8]

Compton has appeared in South Africa’s Maxim and on SI.com,[9] and currently models for Ole Smokey Moonshine, New Amsterdam Vodka, Aveda Landis, Saucony, New Balance, FranklinCovey, Cadillac, Monster Energy, and Outdoor Fitness. In 2013, she joined Golden Boy Promotions as a Corona Ring Card girl.

Personal life

Compton is a vegan, following a strict plant-based diet that she developed with the help of athlete and vegan advocate Brendan Brazier. She is also an active bicyclist, using a specialized Amira road bike on the many trails in her current home of Boulder, Colorado.[10] In addition to her cycling, she practices yoga and Pilates.
