Kotha Veerapuram is a village and a Panchayat in Chittoor district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. Kotha Veerapuram is a small Lake view village in Yerpedu Mandal in the Chittoor district of Andhra pradesh, India. The village has been located between the temple towns Tirupati and Sri kalahasti It is 25 km from Tirupati and 18 km from Sri kalahasti. It comes under Yerpedu mandal. The main livelihood here is agriculture. There are more than 200 families and most of them are farmers. It has lot of paddy field. Kotha Veerapuram contains a primary school, which was established in 1964. There is a school in SC and ST colony also. It primarily depends up on agriculture and all people are always busy in their work. The Swarnamukhi ( Telugu: స్వర్ణముఖి) is a river of southern India. It was mentioned as Mogaleru in the works of Dhurjati. It flows nearby Village and connecting to the famous pilgrimage Srikalahasti in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh state, India. The Swarnamukhi River has five major Saivite shrines along its course in the district. Besides Srikalahasti, there are temples of Agastheswara in Thondavada, Parasareswara in Yogimallavaram, Parasurameswara in Gudimallam and Moolasthaneswara in Gajulamandyam, to which great religious significance is attached by the local people for being on the bank of the equally sacred river. It is not perennial and flows in October to December of every year, and merges Bay of Bengal near Tupilipalem.
