Korisapadu is a village and a Mandal in Prakasam district in the state of Andhra Pradesh in India. [1]

Education Korisapdu has one high school and an elementary school. Dandu Rama Krishna Reddy High School(D.R.K.R High School -(aided)) was established in 1962. The founder was D. Rama Krishna Reddy who contributed his land for high school. This school is located in a 5-acre site which is full of greenery and trees.

The elementary school is under korisapadu mandal praja parishad, which is located in the main center of the village. Korisapadu has one government hospital(PHC) with 20 bed capacity and a veterinary hospital, which were built by Dandu Ramakrishna Reddy with his own funds and on land donated by him. DRK REDDY also donated four acres of land for the construction of the then Korisapadu Panchayat Samithi Headquarters buildings & residential quarters(now Mandal Headquarters)

Korisapadu Lift Irrigation Scheme

The project involves implementation of Korisapadu lift irrigation scheme on Gundlakamma River near Tammavaram village, Addanki Mandal in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh.

The Great temples are located in korisapadu like Ramalyam, Shivalyam, Venu gopal swamy temple and Gangamma temple.
