Kodi Nikorima (born 3 April 1994) is a New Zealand professional rugby league footballer who currently plays for the Brisbane Broncos of the National Rugby League. He primarily plays halfback, five-eighth, fullback, but can also fill in at hooker.

Background

Born in Palmerston North, New Zealand, Nikorima moved to Australia at 12-years of age and played his junior football for the Aspley Devils, before being signed by the Brisbane Broncos.

Playing career

From 2012[1][2] to 2014,[3] Nikorima played for the Brisbane Broncos' NYC team.

On 5 October 2014, Nikorima played for the Broncos in their 2014 NYC Grand Final loss to the New Zealand Warriors.[4]

On 18 October 2014, Nikorima played for the Junior Kiwis.[5]

In Round 2 of the 2015 NRL season, Nikorima made his NRL debut for the Broncos against the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks.[6]

Nikorima is contracted to the Broncos until the end of 2015.[7]
