Knowledge Organization: International Journal devoted to Concept Theory, Classification, Indexing, and Knowledge Representation is a bimonthly peer-reviewed academic journal covering concept theory, classification, indexing, and knowledge representation. It is the official journal of the International Society for Knowledge Organization, published under the title International Classification between 1974 and 1993.

Knowledge Organization is abstracted and or indexed in Current Contents/Social & Behavioral Sciences, Social Sciences Citation Index, Information Science Abstracts, Inspec, Library and Information Science Abstracts, Library Literature, PASCAL, Referativny Zhurnal Informatika, and Sociological Abstracts. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal had a 2009 impact factor of 0.552,[1] but it was not included in the 2010 edition.[2]
