Klang Plaza (Thai: คลังพลาซ่า) is the local department store in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand. It has 2 branches which are Asadang and Jomsurang. It was founded by local businessman, Mr. Paisarn Manasilp. The business started in 1958 with books and stationeries store Klang Wittaya which is still opening on Choompol road.[1]
Klang Plaza Asadang
Klang Plaza Asadang was founded on 1976 with 4 floors. It was considered as biggest department store in north-eastern area of Thailand among that time. It contained large food center and children's play park.
Currently, the store is operating everyday from 10:00-21:00. The shops and services include:
- Klang Supermarket (2nd floor)
- Klang Book Store (mezzanine between 2nd and 3rd floor
- Klang Plaza Asadang Food Center (basement floor)
- KFC (2nd floor)
- Dunkin' Donuts (ground floor)
Klang Plaza Jomsurang
Klang Plaza Jomsurang was founded on 1991, 24 December. The store is located in center of city on Jomsurangyatr road, 100 meters from tourism attraction Thao Suranaree Monument. The store has 9 floors and parking area for more than 400 cars. It was also the biggest department store in north-eastern area in the past. The store is operating everyday from 10:00-21:00 as same as Asadang branch. The shops and services include:
