Kitgum Airport
Kitgum Airport (IATA: n/a, ICAO: HUKT) is an airport in Uganda. It is one of the forty-six (46) airports in the country.[1]
Location
Kitgum Airport is located in the town of Kitgum, in Kitgum District, Acholi sub-region, in Northern Uganda. It lies in the center of town, just west of the Kitgum-Lira Road. Overview
Kitgum Airport is a small civilian airport that serves the town of Kitgum and the surrounding areas of Kitgum District. As of August 2011, the airport is not under the administration of the Uganda Civil Aviation Authority.[3] The airport has a single unpaved runway, whose exact dimensions are unknown as of August 2011. Kitgum Airport is situated at 929 metres (3,048 ft) above sea level.[4]
