Kit and Ace

Kit and Ace is a luxury apparel brand founded in Vancouver, BC, Canada by Shannon Wilson and JJ Wilson. Founded in 2014, Kit and Ace specializes in producing “Technical Luxury™” garments, meaning they apply technical attributes to traditionally high-end fabrications like cashmere.

Kit and Ace is beginning with seven “studio” locations across North America – Vancouver, San Francisco, Toronto, Saskatoon, New York City, Calgary and Edmonton. They have plans for further expansion in 2015 both in North America and the Europe and Asia markets. They also offer online E-commerce shopping. They operate a vertical retail model.

One of the main values of their company is integrity. The company closely follows the Law of Integrity, a business ideology created by noted Harvard University professor Michael Jensen. This ideology appears on many of their brand assets as well as in their brick and mortar shops.

Prior to Kit and Ace, Shannon Wilson worked with her husband Chip Wilson founder of Lululemon Athletica, a yoga wear company also based out of Vancouver, BC. Chip is not involved in this venture, instead focusing on philanthropic endeavours like his charity imagine1day.

Kit and Ace has had several notable media mentions. In Huffington Post Style and Huffington Post BC the duo explain their proprietary blend "qemir". The Vancouver Sun article discusses the independent enterprise, and fashion blog Kastor & Pollux captures a unique perspective of their Vancouver studio and the apparel line.
