Kinwa Urqu (Quechua kinwa quinoa, urqu mountain,[2] "quinoa mountain", hispanicized spelling Quenuaorco) is a mountain in the north-west of the Willkapampa mountain range in the Andes of Peru, about 4,900 metres (16,076 ft) high. It is situated in the Cusco Region, La Convención Province, Vilcabamba District. Kinwa Urqu lies north-east of the mountain Chuqisapra and the Panta group, and north-west of the mountain Chuqitakarpu. The nearest town is Vilcabamba north-east of the mountain.[1]
