The Kingsway Shopping Centre is the principal under-cover shopping centre in the city of Newport, Wales. It has several levels and includes a range of high street shops and privately owned boutiques. It is also home to the city's museum, art gallery and Newport Central library.[1] The northern entrance is on John Frost Square, a Germanic-style town square shopping square.
The centre underwent a refurbishment and extension during 2007 and 2008, linked to the planned Friars Walk mall with the centre remaining open during the refurbishment.[2]
In October 2014 the centre was bought by Queensberry Real Estate, the developers of Friars Walk.
