The King Byerd is a Cornish cultivar of domesticated apple.

Fruits are of green colour, turning yellow with ripening, with flecks of red and grey russet.[1] Tree is a heavy cropping, producing large fruit.[2] Harvested from late October with sharp taste mostly recommended for cooking,[1] and at its best in January when tartness mellows. Uses for dual purpose.[3] Susceptible to apple scab[1][2]
