Kim Ji-won (Hangul: 김지원; born October 19, 1992) is a South Korean actress. In 2011, Kim played her first lead role in the movie Romantic Heaven by director Jang Jin.[1][3] In 2012, Kim performed in the new Korean drama To the Beautiful You as Seol Han-na.[4][5] She also portrayed the role Rachel Yoo in the SBS series The Heirs.
Career
Kim Ji-won first entered the entertainment industry in 2008 by acting in minor roles in dramas and appearing in a few commercials (Oran-C[6][7] and Big Bang's Lollipop[8][9]) and a music video (Younha's "Gossip Boy"[10]). She then starred in the omnibus film Romantic Heaven but her big break did not come until 2010 when she was selected to star in a lead role in Song Ji-na's drama What's Up[11] which aired in 2011.
Her best-known TV role was in the 2011 Korean TV drama series High Kick: Revenge of the Short Legged, in which she played Kim Ji-won. In 2012, Kim Ji-won was in To the Beautiful You as Seol Han-na. Her most recent projects are the omnibus horror film Horror Stories 2 and appearing in a 30-minute music video for Baek Seung-heon's "Til the Sun Rises" along with Kim Jaejoong of JYJ.[12] In 2013, Ji-won was cast to play the role of "Yoo Ra-hael", a chaebol heir, in the drama The Heirs.
On December 2014, Kim signed with new management agency King Kong Entertainment.[13]
