Kim Hye-song is a North Korean world champion silver medallist boxer.[1] She was born in South Hamgyong Province, North Korea.
She represented North Korea in the 2012 Summer Olympics taking place in London in the flyweight division. She lost 9-12 in the Round of 16 to Russia's Elena Savelyeva in the first ever[2] women's boxing bout at the Olympics.
As of July 2012 she was ranked 10th in the world.
