Kijewo, Szczecin
Kijewo is a municipal neighborhood of the city of Szczecin, Poland, situated on the right bank of the Oder River, east of the Szczecin Old Town and south-east of Szczecin-Dąbie.
Before 1945, when Szczecin (Stettin) was a part of Germany, the German name of this suburb was Stettin-Kienwerder. After World War II the region was placed under Polish administration and ethnically cleansed according to the post-war Potsdam Agreement. The native German populace was expelled and replaced with Poles.
