Kicked in the Nuts

Kicked in the Nuts is a spoof of hidden camera shows, created in August 2003 for the Channel 101 short film festival. It was written, directed, produced, and edited by Mike Henry and Patrick Henry.[1]

Premise

Mike Henry is a man who, dressed in a blue jump-suit, sunglasses, and a bright orange afro wig, assaults supposedly unknowing victims by kicking their testicles with force. Each victim at first appears to be angered and confronts their attacker (or in some cases begins to attack back), but Mike quickly explains that they have been victims of the show Kicked in the Nuts, often pointing out the location of the "hidden" camera. At this point, the victim laughs and acts pleased to be part of the show. The footage uses a laugh track and is intercut with generic audience reaction footage from various television shows. It was released on DVD in late 2012.

Among those "kicked in the nuts" was comedian Steve Agee.

Other appearances

The Kicked in the Nuts prankster was featured in the Family Guy episode "The Cleveland-Loretta Quagmire,"[2] written by Mike and Patrick. Peter Griffin is the victim of a prank by the Kicked in the Nuts guy. One of the later episodes featured a live-action segment with Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane "receiving the honor". He also appeared in the DVD release of the episode "Lois Kills Stewie" during Stewie's performance of a variation of Gilbert and Sullivan's "Little List" which was cut from the television broadcast for air-time.

Earl Hickey dresses as the Kicked in the Nuts guy and kicks Little Chubby in the groin in the "Two Balls, Two Strikes" episode of My Name Is Earl on 19 April 2007.
