Kibbutz Beth-El
Kibbutz Beth-El is a Kibbutz with a population of about 800 adult members and children, located in Zikhron Ya'akov, Israel.[1][2]
The community of Christian Zionists of mainly German nationality was founded by sisters Emma and Elsa Berger in 1963. They live in Zikhron Ya'akov, Binyamina, Magen Shaul, the Golan Heights and Haifa. There are about 700 additional members in Germany, Canada, Hungary, Romania, Africa and the Netherlands who can not come to Israel due to restrictions by the Israeli Ministry of the Interior.
Beth-El owns seven factories and other businesses and is the second largest employer in Zichron Ya'akov after the local council.[3]
