Khuda Bux Sheikh of Dariyabad

Khuda Bux Sheikh (Urdu: خُدا بخش شیخ, Hindi: ख़ुदा बख़्श शेख़), also spelled as, Khuda Bakhsh Shai'q of Dariyabad is a noted Urdu writer and poet, from the Barabanki district of Uttar Pradesh, India.

He was a follower of a sufi, Haji Waris Ali Shah.[1]

He has written poetry in Arabic, Urdu and Persian. His book Tohmat-ul-Asfiya is the biography of Haji Waris Ali Shah.[2] In 1877 he collected the sayings of Haji Waris Ali Shah in Malfuzat-i-Haji Waris 'Ali Shah.[1]
