Khawari
Khawari is a village of Mansehra District in the Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. It is located at 33°54'25N 72°9'56E and lies about 10 kilometres away from Mansehra city, the district capital with an altitude of 4000 metres.[1] It is a major village of Lassan Thakral Union Council.The population of this village is about 14000.Tanoli, Awan, Syed, Marhatas, Madrasi, Chinese are the major tribes of this village. RHC is located on the side of the village. Most of the population is literate. Primary and HSSC percentage 100%.
Khawari is situated among forests, streams and small mountains. The Seven Seas Public School (SSPS) is located in Khawari. The Jamia mosque of Khawari is currently constructed by the great devotion of local community.The people of Khawari showed the practical example of unity and discipline with respect to the construction of this mosque.

Khawari was developed fastly durin General Zia regime . Major contribution in socio-economic deveoplment is because of LATE Pir Muhammad And most recently by our MPA Shazi Khan. He has funded for re-carpeting road from Mansehra to Khanwari.One other famous personality for the village was late Hagi Ghulam Haider (Ex DEO district Hazara). He was 3Ws veteran. He devoted all his life helping the people from Khawari, he never got married and have the largest funeral in the Khawari history. khawari is very beautiful village and in neighbourhood mangloor barat balag is situated there are very famous doctors from khawari like Dr.Asif, Dr.Aizaz Ahmad Awan,the people of khawari are hardworking and the land of khawari is very fertile there are two major crops that grows in khawari one is maize and other is wheat. Dr asif are very much famous doctors. from khawari caption safdar is the very much famous person in pak is also from khawari and captn peer muhamad is also from khawari . ex presedent of pak visited khawari many times in the past and constructed many thing in khawari like roads hospitals schools collages and many other things . pm of pakistan mian nawaz shareef also visited khawari about 20 to 25 times . maryam nawaz shareef husband also belong to khawari khawari has a great importance in distric mansehra and is the major village of mansehra there are so many big names from khawari which are working in different fields in gvt dpt. khawari is also known as the backbone of distric mansehra
