Khairthal is a town and a municipality in Tehsil Kishangarh Bas Alwar district in the Indian state of Rajasthan. It is at the northern end of Aravalli Range. It has a major industrial importance in Rajasthan because of its connectivity with Delhi & Jaipur. Reportedly, Khairthal also having one of the biggest grain market in Rajasthan. Khairthal was based by the community of Brahmin who made this village as their choice to live in, after coming from Pakistan. Later, Sindhi and then Vyasya community also found it good.
Demographics
As of 2011 India census,[1] Khairthal had a population of 1,50,298. Males constitute 85,115 of the population and females 65,183 Khairthal has an average literacy rate of 82.56%, higher than the state average of 66.11%: male literacy is 89.96%, and female literacy is 74.47%. In Khairthal, 13.6% of the population is under 6 years of age.
Connectivity
Khairthal is well connected by both Rail and Road. It's on Delhi Jaipur Railway track 130 km from Delhi. Most of the Trains (Superfast / Fast passenger /Pessengers) on this Link halts at Khairthal, like Ashram Express, Malani Express, Pooja Express.
By road it's connected to National Highway 8 (India) Jaipur Delhi Expressway. Connecting points (Roads) at NH8 for Khairthal: from Jaipur side is Kothputli(via Bansoor), from Delhi side is Dharuheda via Kishangarh Bas. Recently a new megha highway project is being passed from kishangarh to kotputly via Khairthal which will be on its way by 2014. A new jaipur-khairthal express has been started after viewing the number of daily passengers. Recently Jaipur Delhi AC train has been started with Khairthal as its one of the stop.
The Nearest Airport is Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi. Jaipur International Airport is also near.
