Khachatur Abovyan Square

Khachatur Abovyan Square (Armenian: Խաչատուր Աբովյանի հրապարակ Khachatur Abovyani hraparak), is a round-shaped square in the city of Yerevan, Armenia. It is located in the Kentron District, to the north of Abovyan Street. The square forms the starting point of the Abovyan street. It is surrounded with the Abovyan park. The Yerevan State Medical University is located at the southern edge of the square.

The statue of Khachatur Abovyan is erected in the square since 1950.^[1]
