Kevin Kahn Wong (born September 12, 1972, Honolulu, Hawai'i) is a professional beach volleyball player who currently competes on the AVP tour. In 2000, he placed fifth paired with Rob Heidger at the Sydney Olympics. Wong was named to People Magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" issue in 2000. He currently lives in Hawaii. He is 6'7" and played his college volleyball at UCLA. His brother Scott Wong, an assistant women's volleyball coach at the University of Hawai'i, also played on the AVP tour.

Wong graduated from Punahou School. At UCLA, he helped the school to win the 1993 and 1995 NCAA Championships and was a three-time All-American. He received his degree in economics in 1995.

He was honored by the Chinese Historical Society of Southern California in "Celebrating Chinese Americans in Sports", May, 2009.[1] In 2012, he serves as beach volleyball analyst and announcer for NBC at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

Career

In 2000, Wong placed first paired with Rob Heidger at the Sydney Olympics. Kevin Wong along with partner Casey Jennings successfully ended the 2010 season by capturing gold at the Swatch FIVB World Tour by beating the Brazilian duo of Benjamin Insfran and Bruno Schmidt at The Hague, Netherlands.[2]

In 2012, he serves as beach volleyball analyst and announcer for NBC at the 2012 Olympic Games in London.
