Kevin Kwan
Kevin Kwan is an Asian-American novelist best known for his satirical novel Crazy Rich Asians.
Early life
Kwan was born in Singapore and lived there until the age of 12 growing up in a privileged upbringing.[1]
Career
Kwan published Crazy Rich Asians in 2013. The book was inspired by a poem he had written years before entitled "Singapore Bible Study."[2] The novel received generally positive reviews upon publication.[3][4][5]
In 2015 Kwan announced he was writing a sequel to Crazy Rich Asians entitled China Rich Girlfriend.[6]
