Kevin Eelko Grandia (born 1974) is a Canadian writer, researcher, blogger and digital campaigner/activist, working mainly on environmental, energy and social justice issues. He was named a "Green Hero" by Rolling Stone in 2013.[1]

He is the former editor of the website DeSmogBlog. Founded in 2007, DeSmogBlog focuses on researching and exposing so-called "climate deniers", people and organizations who receive funding from fossil fuel companies to attack the scientific underpinnings of climate change science. DeSmogblog was named one of the "Top 25 Blogs in the World" by Time in 2011.[2]

In 2008 Grandia co-founded a groundbreaking new online election tool called Vote for Environment.[3] Vote for Environment was an online tool for voters in the 2008 Canadian federal election to use vote strategically for the candidate most likely to defeat the Conservative candidate in any given riding. Vote for Environment was later nominated for a World Summit Award in recognition of the world's best e-Content and innovative ICT applications.

Named one of the "Top 50 Tweeters" on climate change and environment issues by The Guardian, Grandia has appeared in major news media outlets around the world for his work on digital campaigning and online strategy. He is an outspoken critic of the current state of the media and the role online outlets have played in the evolution of the global media landscape.
